About ErrandGo

Last updated: 7 October 2026

ErrandGo is a Nigerian errand and delivery service. It starts with cooking gas: ErrandGo Smart Gas tells a household how much gas is left in its cylinder and gets it refilled before it runs out. The same network of verified riders also delivers market runs, food, groceries and pharmacy orders.

The problem

In many Nigerian homes the cooking gas runs out without warning, often mid-cooking, because nobody can see how much is left inside a cylinder. Refilling then means a trip to a gas plant, at a price that changes often, sometimes carrying the cylinder on a bus or motorcycle. In 2026, cooking gas sold for about ₦2,000 per kg in parts of Ogun State (The Sun, 4 Oct 2026).

How Smart Gas works

  1. Measure. A slim ErrandGo base sits under the cylinder and weighs the gas left. It never touches the gas, valve or regulator, and works with the customer's own cylinder.
  2. Predict. The app learns the household's usage and shows the day the gas will run out.
  3. Refill early. Two days before empty, the customer taps once or auto-refill books it. A licensed gas plant fills the cylinder and a verified rider brings it back.

The Smart Gas app side is built. The device is moving from a prototype to a manufacturing partner, followed by a 50-home pilot in Mowe and certification (NCC and SONCAP). Pricing will be published before the pilot.
