Rider Agreement
This agreement is between you and Vicxien Ventures (a business name registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission), which trades as ErrandGo. You accept it in the ErrandGo Rider app before you can apply or go online. It works alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. You're independent
- You deliver as an independent contractor, not an employee, agent or partner of ErrandGo.
- You choose when to go online and which jobs to take. You can stop at any time.
- You provide and pay for your own vehicle, fuel, phone, data and any licence, registration or insurance the law requires for your vehicle.
- You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.
2. Joining and staying verified
- You must be at least 18 and give true information: your identity, vehicle, licence (if your vehicle needs one), bank account in your own name, an emergency contact and a guarantor.
- We may check your details with your bank and with identity services, and call your guarantor, before and after approval.
- Your account is personal. Never let anyone else ride with your account. We may ask you for a new selfie at any time to confirm it is you.
- Tell us straight away if your vehicle, licence or bank account changes. A new vehicle is checked again before you can use it.
3. On every job
- Follow traffic laws and ride safely. Wear a helmet on a motorcycle.
- Treat customers, store staff and other riders with respect. No harassment, threats or discrimination.
- Collect and deliver exactly what the order says. Don't open, swap or keep anything.
- Hand over an order only after the customer gives you their 4-digit delivery code.
- Never collect cash or extra money. Every order is paid in the app.
- Use customers' names, phone numbers and addresses only to deliver their order. Don't save, share or contact them for anything else.
4. Gas cylinders
- Carry gas only if ErrandGo has cleared you for gas jobs, after the in-person safety orientation.
- Cylinders over 12.5 kg go only by car or van, never on a motorcycle or bicycle.
- Keep cylinders upright, secured and away from heat. Never carry a cylinder inside a bus or with passengers.
- Refuse a cylinder that is damaged, rusted or leaking, and tell us in the app.
- If you smell gas or see fire, follow the Gas leak or fire steps in the app: get people back, call 112, then send ErrandGo an SOS.
5. What you earn
- The rider app shows what you will earn for a job before you accept it. Tips go to you in full.
- You can ask to be paid to your verified bank account. We check each request against your delivered jobs and pay by bank transfer.
- We may hold a payout while we look into a complaint, a missing order or suspected fraud, and will tell you why.
6. Your location and data
While you are on a job, your live location is shared with that order's customer and store, and with ErrandGo, so they can see the delivery coming. It stops when the job ends. We keep your verification documents privately and use them only to check who you are and keep people safe. Our Privacy Policy explains the rest, including how to ask us to delete your data.
7. Responsibility
- You are responsible for your vehicle and how you ride, and for loss or damage you cause through carelessness or breaking this agreement.
- ErrandGo is responsible for running the app and paying what you earn. We are not responsible for traffic, weather or the condition of a customer's cylinder, but we will help if something goes wrong on a job.
- Nothing here removes rights you have under Nigerian law.
8. Suspension and ending
You can delete your rider account at any time in the app. We may pause or end your access if you break this agreement, give false information, put anyone at risk, or receive serious complaints. Where it is safe, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Earnings for jobs you completed are still paid.
9. Changes and disputes
We may update this agreement; the app will ask you to accept a new version before you go online again. It is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we disagree, we will first try to settle it within 14 days; after that, the courts of Ogun State have jurisdiction.
